Wensum Junior School has recently converted an existing cloakroom to a washroom area to create more facilities and a spacious open plan washroom area.

Still standing strong in its existing architecture the school building has been highlighted as one of the ‘historic gems’ of Norwich.

This meant careful design and refurbishment was required to ensure the schools existing architecture and historic feel was preserved when renovating to create a modern school washroom.

As manufacturers of bespoke washrooms, we were able to assist with the refurbishment from the design stage – working with architects, contractor and the school board to manufacture the washrooms to suite the room layout and building design.

Grafix Mondrian adds a splash of design history and paired with complimentry plains from our colour range the challenger toilet cubicles create an attractive, vibrant touch to the new washroom area.

The abstract Mondrian design also paired with the schools existing architecture – high windows and looming archways.

Resilic Washtroughs paired with complimentary SGL Vanity subframes give a smart streamlined look to the spacious handwash area.

Resilic Washtroughs are constructed from FRP (Fibre Reinforced Plastic) in one piece – the smooth lightweight material also has a high hygiene level as the surface is protected from cracks and dirt traps and are sealed with an antibacterial finish.
