Hampton College
The Challenge
Hampton College, an all-through school in Peterborough for students aged 4 to 18, faced challenges with anti-social behaviour in washroom areas. To improve supervision while maintaining student privacy, they needed a solution that enhanced visibility without compromising functionality.
The Solution
To address these concerns, the washroom walls were opened up to the corridor, and a dwarf wall was installed behind the handwashing areas. This design created a more open and spacious environment while increasing visibility for staff supervision.
We designed and manufactured full-height SGL cubicles from our Altitude range, ensuring durability and privacy for the students. In addition, pre-framed IPS duct panel systems were installed to conceal plumbing and maintain a sleek appearance.
For handwashing, Sanivé solid surface wash trough vanity units were provided. These units offer a modern, space-saving solution, eliminating the need for separate ceramic basins and silicone joints while ensuring hygiene and durability.
The Outcome
The redesigned washrooms at Hampton College now provides a safer, more manageable space with improved supervision, hygiene, and a modern aesthetic.
