The challenge was to provide washroom solutions that catered to diverse user needs, handled high traffic volumes, and enhanced the overall shopping experience.
The Solution
Dunhams Washrooms has worked with several shopping centres to provide washroom solutions that meet these high demands. Solid Grade Laminate (SGL) was chosen as the panel of choice for its durability and ease of maintenance. For cubicles, we supplied systems such as Vista, Challenger, Altitude, and Aspect, each offering a range of features to suit busy washroom environments. These cubicles are designed to withstand high volumes of foot traffic while maintaining both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
For handwashing areas, Corian Handwash Troughs and Premium Surface Vanity Tops, complemented by SGL Vanity Units, were selected for their ability to handle large crowds while remaining easy to clean. This combination helps maintain a hygienic environment in high-traffic washrooms.
To create a welcoming atmosphere, colour schemes combining woodgrain finishes with neutral tones were used, helping to bring in natural light and create a calm, inviting space for visitors.
The Outcome
The upgraded washrooms in shopping centres now provide a durable, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional solution for visitors. The combination of SGL panels, high-quality handwash troughs, and vanity units ensures the washrooms are easy to maintain and can withstand the demands of heavy footfall.
